*Note*: The Syracuse In-Depth Tax School and the Syracuse Annual Income Tax Update (AITU) School will both be held at the same location and on the same dates. The group will be split to accommodate the differing training needs of the attendees.

We conduct research and offer educational programs targeted toward tax preparers, consultants, and attorneys who work with and prepare tax returns for individuals, small businesses, and farmers.

The Cornell tax schools have run continuously for over 60 years. Our current schools are taught by small business and farm tax experts. Qualifying program attendees are eligible for New York State Continuing Educational Credits (CPE).

The tax school is led by Gregory J. Bouchard, Senior Extension Associate. Greg has many years of tax experience as well as tax school teaching experience.

Our Two-Day In-Depth Tax School, click here for details.

This is a faster paced program that covers tax law updates and individual (Form 1040) income tax issues, but also includes information on LLC, Partnership, Corporate, Estate and Gift Issues where appplicable. It does not include a 2 hour Ethics presentation.

Our Two-Day Annual Income Tax Update School, click here for details.

This course concentrates on Form 1040 items and includes 2 hours of Federal Tax Ethics. It does not include Business Partnership, LLC, Corporate, Entity or Estate and Gift Issues.

 

NOTE:The Ethics portion of the course is not approved for CPAs or CFPs.

Cornell Income Tax Schools

Register early and save:
Registration fees are based on the schools being offered and are made available once they are determined. We offer an early registration period which provides discounted rates.

Tax School Cancellation Policy: We must be notified in writing; an e-mail message is okay.

  • If we are notified at least 2 weeks before the school begins the cancellation fee is $45.00
  • If we are notified less than 2 weeks before the school, excluding the night before the school begins or the day of the school, the cancellation fee is $145.00
  • Cancellations received the day before or day of the conference will not receive a refund, but will be sent the materials handed out at the school.

No Shows: Registrants who do not attend will be sent the materials handed out at the school.

Note:Substitution of attendees is permitted but must be approved by the Registrar.
